In several news articles the pen holder given to President Obama from Prime Minister Brown has been referred to as being made from HMS GANNET, "a sister ship to HMS RESOLUTE". The GANNET was no such thing!!!! If anyone has any information about the HMS GANNET from which this holder was made, I would really appreciate receiving it. I have placed the information that I have been able to gather on the EVENTS AND NEWS PAGE. What do you think of the gifts these 2 leaders exchanged?
